Let’s get together and make some music using whatever we can find lying around. TRASH is about making music from minimal means. We’re not going to let distance get in the way of making some noise and sharing a few laughs. Join TRASH facilitator Alan Govan for a messy, chaotic and fun online workshop during which we will work together to use our webcams as they have never been used before, for live sampling of home-made noises, and some curious and creative games and activities. Open to young people aged 10-16 and families who can get on Microsoft Teams on any device. Tickets available on Eventbrite https://bit.ly/3pvTjal
You will need:
• A device you can use to access Microsoft Teams (a computer will be best, but a phone or a tablet will still work fine)
• A sense of humour
• Optional - if you are attending on your own, we recommend wearing a set of headphones or earphones, as this will cut down on potential echo
The workshop is suitable for children and young people ages 10-16, or you can join in as a family. A user agreement will be sent out in advance of the workshop, this is to ensure safeguarding for children and young people within Edinburgh City Council Guidelines.
