Proudly presenting the ‘Auld Lang Syne’ video produced in collaboration with Tomaž Pritekelj in celebration of the Make Music Day UK, a set of international music events held in venues and public spaces around the globe. This year took place online due to factors 😉
We had a little bit over a week to learn the piece, interpret it, record and edit the video, which was challenging but fun and utterly creative.
We were surprised how much work can be done over such limited timeframe!
Our video made it to the grand finale and opened the collage video of ‘Auld Lang Syne’ performed by various musicians from the country, which premiered last Sunday on the International Music Day.
Special thanks to Hilary Goodfellow, one of the best human beings on the planet who co-produced the Auld Lang Syne Project with Findlay Jamieson; and Francois Olivo, the godsend cameraman.
The video begins with a little monologue on the main reason why we decided to take part in this project.
Enjoy and let me know your thoughts!
