Ready to develop your live-streaming skills further? Join us to learn some intermediate live-streaming skills for Make Music Day 2021.

About this Event

Done a bit of streaming before and what to take your online gig or event to the next level for #MakeMusicDayUK 2021? Then this introduction to video streaming workshop is for you.

Make Music Day UK are running a series of workshops to help you to develop the skills that you need to bring music to your communities on 21 June. Join the Make Music Day UK team for this online, participatory workshop and learn about different streaming platforms and softwares that can help give a professional look to your live stream.

In this workshop, you will:

  • explore platforms and software such as StreamYard and OBS, and how they can be used to create a pro-looking live stream
  • be introduced to how you can simulcast your live streams to different social media platforms and websites
  • identify what different components you can bring into your live stream such as performances, interviews, pre-recorded content and much more!

You’ll also have the opportunity to share your ideas about your own live stream performance with others and our team, and get some advice and suggestions on how you can ramp it up to the next level.

The workshop is interactive and aimed at people with a bit of existing knowledge of video-making and live-streaming, and want to move to the next level. Once you register, we will send you a Zoom Meeting link to the workshop. All you need to take part is a device with internet connection.

We’d love it if you could join us – Places are limited, so register now!
