Karl MacRae

Professional Musician and Teacher

Karl is a fully qualified professional musician and teacher.  He has a B.Ed. Music (HONS), gained in 2001, also P.G. Dip in Additional Support for Learning (Visual Impairment), graduating in 2010.

Originally from the beautiful village of Golspie in East Sutherland, his background in music spans from classical music, playing violin in local orchestras around the Highlands, Scotland and Europe. Karl’s specialism is traditional folk music, playing accordion and fiddle in local and national mod’s as well as at Ceilidh’s and Burns events.  He has travelled around Britain and in America, doing solo work and as part of various bands. ​
