Make Music Day Meet-up… with UK Music!
Make Music Day UK are running a series of workshops to help you to develop the skills that you need to bring music to your communities on 21 June. This workshop focuses on how to promote and put on online music events.
About this Event
At the meet-up you’ll find out about what Make Music Day is and the different ways you can be involved. You’ll also hear from our co-hosts – UK Music – about their work in supporting music across the UK, as well as a guest speaker, Emily Marlow, who will be talking about how to promote and put on online music events. Emily is a freelance events and projects coordinator and is part of the Music Local, Come Play With Me and Girl Gang Leeds teams. She produces a range of events including talks, gigs, workshops, exhibitions, screenings, arts markets and meet-ups. Emily is passionate about supporting the local creative community and platforming marginalised people through her work.
There will also be the opportunity to meet other people involved in music-making and foster new connections.
The Make Music Day team will also be there to share with you details about forthcoming trainings, tools and know-how so you can run your own music-related activities.
