Nicola Bealing and Nathaniel Mann: In Conversation

Discover the inspirations behind the works of artist Nicola Bealing and composer Nathaniel Mann

Come along to this ‘In Conversation’ event with contemporary artist Nicola Bealing, whose work is on display in A New Song (to an Old Tune), and Nathaniel Mann, acclaimed composer, performer and member of the Dead Rat Orchestra. Find out more about the inspiration both artists have drawn from eighteenth-century broadsheet ballads (daily song sheets sold for pence) which give a rare insight into Britain’s visual, musical, literary and political history.

Nicola Bealing lives and works in Cornwall and is a member of the Royal West of England Academy. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, her most recent solo exhibition was Capital Crime at Matt’s Gallery in 2018.
