One Giant Leap was commissioned by David Temple MBE and Hertfordshire Chorus and written by James McCarthy and was premiered in the Queen Elizabeth Hall at the end of April to a lengthy standing ovation!

James’s last commission for Hertfordshire Chorus Codebreaker about the life of Alan Turing, was recorded with the BBC Concert Orchestra and released by Signum Records in 2017 to great reviews. The score is available through Stainer and Bell.
