Summer Solstice Strum

Come together with junk guitars & ukes to MAKE MUSIC

On the 21st of June for Summer Solstice – join Jo Pue and Melody Makers with her band of ‘junk’ musicians to play the Make Music Day song BRING ME SUNSHINE and bring smiles and music to the visitors at MARINE POINT at 6pm. All are welcome to join in.

The Floral Pavilion will host a family workshop on the 16th of June, Father’s day to create guitars and other instruments from rubbish. The workshop is part of the International Guitar Festival, the Year of the Environment and Wirral’s Borough of Culture. Participants will be shown how to tune their new instruments and will be provided with a copy of the music in preparation for the public performance on the 21st of June.
