Children in school will show off what they have produced during 'Make Music Day 2024'. They will perform to each other in school and share what they have learnt.
Drop into the library on Friday 21st June and enjoy Make Music Day with our local schools and musical groups.
We are joining together 4 schools which take part in the 'Soundstart' scheme on the island. They will learn a new piece all together, perform a composition they have created and learn a manx song/dance.

Over 400 schoolchildren from across Yorkshire and the North-East have been invited to take part in a special celebration of all things musical. This event will give them opportunities to express themselves musically by spending the day singing, playing instruments, meeting professional musicians and composing music.
Kings Clarinets are a clarinet choir who always enjoy this opportunity to spend a whole day of making music.

In celebration of Make Music Day, Hammersmith BID are welcoming a variety of local musicians including school and community choirs, up and coming local artists and students from surrounding music colleges to showcase their talents in the centre of Hammersmith in Lyric Square.
