As part of the London Festival of Architecture and #MakeMusicDayUK, Musicity takes audiences on a musical and architectural journey across South London.
This pre-recorded feature from Musicity of Neue Grafik performing from the Albany Theatre in Deptford. Rising French electronic producer, instrumentalist and DJ Neue Grafik is performing alongside special guest Sierra Leonean British poet and rapper Brother Portrait. Neue Grafik moved a few years ago from Paris to London and has chosen a space which immediately made him feel at home: The Albany Theatre in Deptford. Neue Grafik is performing live on the stage of The Albany’s stunning central theatre. In his music, you can hear the sounds of Paris & London mixed with the ethnic sounds of Africa, as well as House, Jazz, Broken Beat and Hip-Hop. Insightful artist Indie Max / Ndabane (member of The Albany’s collective Sounds Like Chaos) will be in conversation with Neue Grafik and Brother Portrait right after their performance.
