How creative is your choice of venue and location for Make Music Day? Our partners, NYMAZ are offering free support for rural event organisers to help you make the most out of your rural performance.
An open letter from Grace McNeill, NYMAZ Coordinator:
Dear Performer,
Thank you for signing up to the Make Music Day UK Rural Theme!
This is the second year that NYMAZ has worked with Make Music Day UK to take music to the countryside –and we are encouraging you to think as creatively as you can when it comes to venue and location!
NYMAZ would love to be a part of your day and help you get the most out of your rural performance. We are offering to share your stories, inspiration and promote your music across our social media platforms as much as possible and feature your work with an interview posted to our website. All our rural theme entrants are offered these opportunities if you would like our support. Alternatively you can opt to promote your performance solely through your own private networks.
Additionally, we are offering a featured article for the artist or group that enters our competition for #NYMAZmostRural. We want to hear your performance idea, and location of choice where you will be taking your music on the 21 June. The winners will be those that NYMAZ believe is the most rural and exciting performance!
Winners will be selected on Friday 14 June by NYMAZ and given a featured article space to promote and shout about their performance, activity and work as much as possible.
To take up our offer of support for your rural performance, live stream, and interviews just email Grace, the NYMAZ Coordinator to set up an initial interview and discussion on how we can best support you. You can also express your interest in entering our #NYMAZmostRural competition.
