Musicity Presents – Clementine March

Musicity Presents – Clementine March

As part of the London Festival of Architecture and #MakeMusicDayUK, Musicity takes audiences on a musical and architectural journey across South London.

YouTube video

This pre-recorded feature focuses on multi-instrumentalist, singer and wanderer Clémentine March performing from Nunhead Cemetery in South London. Nunhead Cemetery is one of the least known, though most attractive, of the great Victorian Cemeteries of London. Clémentine has chosen a very special stage: the raised roots of the oldest oak tree of Nunhead. This tree is favoured by children and their families, creating magical settings for tales and play. Sitting by this wonderful tree, Clémentine is playing the classical guitar with a repertoire of contemporary ballads, soft instrumentals and a tribute to Brazilian singer/songwriter Caetano Veloso with a cover of O Leãozinho (‘Little Lion’).
