Make Music Day – showcase your talents in York
Make Music Day is performed by anyone, enjoyed by everyone, and we really mean it. We want the day to be filled with as many different events as possible in all sorts of spaces and places.
The National Centre for Early Music in York is offering their venue free-of-charge to groups who would like to use it for Make Music Day activities. It will be available on a first come first served basis to organised community groups only (rather than individuals) between 5pm and 10pm on Thursday 21st June. You could perform for one part of this time, organise an open rehearsal or participatory workshop, or invite other groups along to join you as a showcase event and musical sharing. See what Mersey Harmony have organised in Liverpool as inspiration.
If you are interested then please email events@ncem.co.uk for more information by Thursday 14th June at 5pm.
