Listening to Colour and Sound – Creating the Kandinsky Way
Join Leeds Libraries and Maria Kapsali as we explore what music looks like.
This fun workshop explores sound and music in the work of Wassily Kandinsky, a celebrated 20th century abstract painter. Gain an insight into the relationship between his search for a new visual language and his understanding of colour and sound. Using brushes and easels we will explore the sensory relationships between drawing, painting and sound. We will utilise Echome technology, which allows us to make sound as we draw / paint!
